N/LAB has devoted considerable effort to descriptive and predictive analytics in the domain of retailing. The lab has access to data from various multinational retailers. In press and in prep work is bound to make a significant contribution to our understanding of life event prediction, novel forms of temporally dynamic segmentation and ‘macro’ effects of analytics (how consumer decision making has changed). This work aims to set the agenda in this fast paced area of research.
