The Third High Level Forum on UN Global Geospatial Information Management was held in Beijing, China on the 22nd to the 24th of October, 2014. NeoDem Geospatial Fellow, Mark Iliffe was invited to the forum as an expert panelist on mapping emerging nations. Mark presented the impact of community mapping in Tanzania, illustrating how novel methods can be used to map rapidly changing cities like Dar es Salaam.
